AFTER CARE

Here we explain how to look after (maintain) cordovan and bridle leather.

To do this, please use a dedicated cloth together with a WAX that is suitable for that type of leather.

: STEP.1 Brushing

Lightly brush the article to remove dirt.
Stains and serious dirt should be removed using bucks gum to create a base.

: STEP.2 Application

Select the WAX suitable for the type of leather and spread 2–3 rice grains’ worth on a soft cloth, then apply it to the item. There is no need to apply the WAX thickly at this time.

: STEP.3 Absorption

Allow the WAX to absorb into each item for the length of time appropriate to that type of WAX.
※As a rough estimate, this is approximately when the stickiness subsides.

: STEP.4 Finishing

Brush the article again, removing any WAX that has gotten into the stitching etc. Polish the item gently using the flannel supplied.

※ Certain types of leather may stain or fade. Be sure to conduct a test on an inconspicuous section of the article before using this product.
